From April to September 2025 oikos International will host another edition of its flagship leadership program LEAP. LEAP is a free, transformative program designed for students and early-career researchers to grow personally and develop responsible leadership skills. For over a decade, LEAP has supported hundreds of changemakers on their leadership journeys.
Since 2015, the LEAP program has supported the personal development of hundreds of participants, redefining traditional leadership to emphasize purpose and a deep sense of responsibility – both to their communities and to our planet. By encouraging participants to explore different facets of themselves and build meaningful connections with those around them, the LEAP program inspires future leaders to lead with authenticity, compassion, and purpose.
After a decade of growth and constant evolution – fueled by a vibrant community of changemakers – oikos teamed up with Principles for Responsible Management Education (PRME), an initiative of the United Nations Global Compact to bring the biggest cohort yet in 2025.
The program runs from mid-April to September. Through LEAP, you’ll cultivate the mindset and skills needed to drive systemic change, with a particular emphasis on creating positive impact at institutional and community levels.
This year, the program will be guided by the PRME i5 – the Impactful Five framework, which fosters playful learning and the development of five essential skills: cognitive, emotional, creative, social, and physical. Designed to make learning meaningful, the framework promotes active engagement, iteration, supportive social interaction, and a sense of joy and well-being.
LEAP is open for undergraduates, Master’s students, PhD students or postdoctoral researchers. Ideal candidates are those eager to develop their interpersonal skills, and inspire others to step into their role as conscious leaders within their communities and organizations. By doing so, they will help build effective, conscious communities that drive systemic transformation toward sustainability and the well-being of both people and the planet.
