The event brought together people and institutions committed to transforming higher education towards sustainable development. Participants from around the world joined the virtual conference rooms and engaged themselves in discussions and interactive sessions.
Videos of our thought provokers are now available

The conference focused on the following topics:

  • QUALITY ASSURANCE AND ENHANCEMENT
  • TRANSFORMATIVE TEACHING AND LEARNING
  • LEADERSHIP FOR CHANGE
  • PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT
  • ASSESSMENT

Lively discussions took place, new ideas emerged, and new connections were established between persons interested in HESD and engaged in pushing important agendas forward. The program was designed to foster exchange among participants: Videos of "thought provokers" were already available online one week in advance to intensify discussions on the day of the conference. In "next practice" sessions the audience learned about innovative approaches and in "co-creation labs" participants worked together on different topics in small groups. A final “co-creation lab” was devoted to exploring the possibility of launching a COST Action with CA members and their partners; possible topics were drawn from the main topics of the conference.
